Developer MultiGroup Website

Developer MultiGroup is one of Turkey's largest volunteer developer communities — 15,000+ members across iOS & mobile, web, AI/GenAI, game development, Web3, and career tracks — with a learning arm, MultiAcademy, that runs free bootcamps. I designed and built the community's website end to end: a fully server-rendered platform that acts as the community's live system of record, where every event, talk, and partner is editable in seconds with no redeploy.

What it runs

  • 100+ events and 200+ speakers — talks, workshops, and bootcamp sessions.
  • 20+ recorded talk & bootcamp series, pulled straight from YouTube playlists.
  • A partner network of 25+ sponsor companies and 36 partner communities — GDG chapters, university clubs, and data-science circles across Turkey — plus 26 organisers, all managed from one admin.
  • Blog, linktree, photo galleries, and a curated resource library.

How it's built

  • Astro 5 SSR on Cloudflare Workers — rendered at the edge, at request time.
  • Cloudflare D1 holds every row of content, KV backs a version-stamped read cache (a write bumps the version, so the first read after an edit is always fresh), and R2 serves media.
  • A single config-driven admin: one resource registry generates every list view, edit form, and the persistence behind them — adding a whole content type is a few lines, not a new CRUD screen.
  • Semantic search over the content (Workers AI embeddings + Vectorize), plus AI-discoverability baked in — llms.txt / llms-full.txt and dynamic Open Graph cards.
  • Login is handled by Warden, MultiGroup's central OIDC identity provider (another build of mine).
  • Analytics (GA4 · PostHog · Sentry) behind a KVKK-compliant, opt-in consent layer, every decision logged.
  • An AMOLED, monochrome design system. Turkish throughout, under the English motto "Where Developers Become Together."
